This drum has a walnut , cherry and white ash top, spruce sides, and a birch plywood slap face. That’s Raymond Creasy playing it, since he made it just a few weeks ago. It’s finished with a clear spray and has rubber feet to keep it off the floor and make it more resonant. It’s easy to carry, just grab it by the port (the hole), weighing about 15#. Deeper sounds are found in the middle of the slap face, so it’s more like djembe sounds. It looks great in any room of the house, functions like a table or a seat. Raymond’s sister has this one. http://www.raymondcreasy.com
