Any cheap suggestions for the exterior of a shop?

I am building a 12′x16′ shop. Planning on using plywood for the exterior walls, but wondering if there might be something cheaper since wood is so high right now. Is there somewhere I might could get mobile home siding material or something like that? Thanks.

For a cheap siding, those blue tarps or painters plastic. I doubt they will last very long. House siding is probably the most durable for the price. If you think the price of lumber is too high, wait for a while, but I doubt it will get much cheaper. Buy in bulk from a wholesale supply house, not the local lumber yard. But since you only need about 40 pieces including the roof and floor, the wholesale is not a good option. Shop around, ask each supplier for a bid, to include the framing and floor joists. The bigger the prject size, the better the overall price. Make a complete project list and take it to the suppliers, the price should include delivery
