Building a barbie house as a gift for my girls for christmas. Approx dimensions 36″ wide x 12″ deep x 42″ high. Made from leftover 1/2″ plywood (walls & floors), 1/8″ hardboard (backwall), and 1/4″hardboard (room divider) wood materials. Scrapbooking cardstock, foamboard, and peel n’ stick carpet & vinal/linoleum used for the interier/exterior.

@angfoster27 Also – some tips when building not included in this video: 1) I Glued all the textured paper to the back wall before assembly (this allowed me to line up the seams of the “wall paper”) and I avoided having to trim pieces that were too long as they just got covered by the walls & floors. 2) When placing the carpet tiles line them up with the front edge of the floor as they were a bit smaller then the other tiles. the foam project board’s thickness hid the gap at the back.

@angfoster27 Good luck in your build, Try to think of a place it would fit in your current furniture arrangement. I kept it in the shed until Christmas morning, Then once I brought it in Christmas eve, my wife & I said “Now where are we going to put this thing?”… we did find a place but we had to move some funiture around to make it fit to our liking
