how many coats of primer for exterior of building?

i’m repainting an old building with peeling paint. looks to have plywood siding.

dont forget to power wash the building before you prime

    1 coat of primer should do,,be sure to remove all peeling paint and dirt

    as long as you prep it right one coat should be fine.be sure to remove and sand any areas that are peeling or chipped.i have seen and heard of co,s that use pressure washers but i would only do that if you really know howe it could do more damage then good.
