On the Today Show this morning, Barbara Corcoran discussed the questions that buyers should ask when looking for a new home. Corcoran said you should ask the broker why the person is moving and how long the unit has been on the market to determine how much the current owner wants to sell, and if you will be able to get a good deal. She also suggested looking in a home’s closet to see if the floors are hardwood or plywood, and visiting the neighborhood at night and on the weekend to get a sense of the area.
