I really dislike … I really dislike flat bottoms on canoes because every canoe I have been in with a flat bottom, seems very unstable. I know I really have to put an effort to actually flipping over, but it SEEMS unstable.
Pretty nice project though. I hope it all stays together and not fall apart.

I bought it at a … I bought it at a specialty store in Dublin, CA where they sell marine epoxy and fiber glass tape. Maybe you can get it if they sell signs and plastics. I was having a hard time looking for them until I asked a guy from Home Depot. Online too, but you have to pay shipping.
where do you get … where do you get polyester resin or fiber glass tape to stick it together beacause i have a plan to make one out of just 3 sheets of plywwod and need something to stick em together
Building your own … Building your own canoe is great fun, so much more fun than simply buying one.. I think everyone has a canoe inside them waiting to come out.. do a search for “Birchcanoes” on Youtube for some of the canoes we build ( in 3 days start to finish).. John

yes, I put the … yes, I put the sides together with a fiber glass tape with marine epoxy. go to bateau. com. they have a free plan for this boat. some of the techniques i learned it along the way. good luck.
