I really dislike flat bottoms on canoes because every canoe I have been in with a flat bottom, seems very unstable. I know I really have to put an effort to actually flipping over, but it SEEMS unstable.

I bought it at a specialty store in Dublin, CA where they sell marine epoxy and fiber glass tape. Maybe you can get it if they sell signs and plastics. I was having a hard time looking for them until I asked a guy from Home Depot. Online too, but you have to pay shipping.

yes, I put the sides together with a fiber glass tape with marine epoxy. go to bateau. com. they have a free plan for this boat. some of the techniques i learned it along the way. good luck.
