Hey mini war gamers. This new video shows you step by step how to make a Warhammer gaming board. Stop by your local hardware store and pick up a sheet of 1/2 inch plywood. They usually come on 8′x4′ sections so you may need them to cut the sheet in half.
Buy four 8′long 1×2’s for the framing. Cut them accordingly to fit underneath the plywood top. Watch the video and see the different steps.
Also, here’s the written article for making a warhammer gaming table:

If you’ve been to …
If you’ve been to lumber stores, alot of the wood is bent. It’s not bad quality wood, it’s not bad quality cut. Wood generally warps when cut, left to dry and if it’s put into storage where other weight is applied onto. Which is normally the case.
My first warhammer board was just a sheet 4×6 and within a year it had warped and didn’t lay down flat so it’s always good to reinforce it.

ya as long as you …
ya as long as you drill pilot holes first .
you don’t want to split the wood .
i think a gaming table based on the papering table would be cool.
even if you had to make 2 and set them side by side .
the fact it has its own legs that fold away.
and the board then folds over and can be locked.
just add a good carry handle and your set .
its a lot more work but if you were away good at woodwork .
then it would be no bother at all.
plus you get a board you can take pretty much anywhere .
