(For those not familiar with this wood, its pronounced 'anna - grey') I used quite a bit of it in the furniture industry. You didn't mention if this was figured anigre, or not. Ash, hickory, and maple may be closer color matches...if this is figured anigre, then a fiddleback maple might be the closest match. But if you're ordering veneer - really, you may as well order anigre to begin with. You didn’t mention if this was figured anigre, or not. Ash, hickory, and maple may be closer color matches…if this is figured anigre, then a fiddleback maple might be the closest match.
